Position is Full-time. Scheduled weekly hours 40-50 hours
Travel required 10-30%

Job Brief

  • The Operational Manager oversees the entire supply chain purchasing and distribution process
  • The Operational Manager will take and manage the inventory of products stored within the warehouse, monitor, and manage budgets
  • Collaborate closely with product suppliers and clients to build strong and long-lasting relationships
  • Perform and oversee deployment logistics, including site surveys, coordination of shipping/receiving, and field distribution of products
  • The Operational Manager will handle the entire delivery process of products by scheduling both inbound and outbound shipments, and constantly monitor them to make sure each product arrives on time and at the lowest costs
  • Ensures the logistical processes run smoothly and determines improvements to increase productivity levels across the organization

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory into the trackable database
  • Work closely with the hardware engineering team and software development team to identify and fulfill the demand for the updated inventory
  • Respond to and resolve complaints and problems
  • Contributes to operational deployment plans outlining critical and best practice launch activities
  • Create documents, processes, tools, and metrics that reflect outcomes
  • Conducts pre-deployment and post-deployment evaluations, surveys, and testing to measure launch effectiveness
  • The manager will conduct monthly audits using a standardized checklist
  • Lead team meetings to report and present logistics locally and/or globally

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of demonstrated experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the Government’s procedures and requirements for HSPD-12, knowledge about Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM), PIV integration, Biometrics and Credential Management System (CMS) is a plus
  • Hardware and Software build and deployment project experience
  • Proven success in managing multiple key priorities and tight timelines
  • Experience working in a start-up environment would be ideal – we need someone who will “roll up their sleeves and get it done” even if the task is not included in these bullets

Additional Requirements
