The successful Project Manager candidate will have the opportunity to manage and drive internal and external initiatives for NextgenID and client stakeholders. Suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, the Project Manager role will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle and become the custodian and champion for our client’s needs. The Project Manager will interact with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams daily, building strong relationships and ensuring consistent high quality, effective delivery. This is an opportunity for someone that wants to make a difference.

This position is distinguished by its independent and overall responsibility for project management, including project plan definition, business process analysis and recommendation. This position requires an individual that exercises independent judgement, is self-motivated, a creative thinker, organized, and able to proactively lead projects to timely completion. • Leads the development and agreement for the Project Charter
• Communicates project status up and out to the client/stakeholders
• Identifies and builds relationships with key stakeholders
• Defines time, processes, metrics, collaboration for success
• Explains the project life cycle and processes to stakeholders
• Develops detailed Project Management Plans
• Leads the project planning activities
• Is responsible for developing a realistic schedule and budget
• Conduct regular status meetings
• Maintain clear requirements through documentation and actionable scope of work for cross functional project teams
• Informs management on project status and requirements
• Controls all aspects of the project (scope, time, costs, risks, quality, etc.)
• Logs and applies lessons learned and performs project closure

We look for:
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a project manager
• Knowledge and handling of Program Management Methodology
• Experience with government projects, System integrators, remote teams
• HW and SW experience in the security industry, ICAM preferred
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products Suite
• Proven success working with small dynamic teams
• Ability to work positively across a wide range of dispersed individuals
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
• Proven success in managing projects with multiple key priorities and tight timelines
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as being poised in asking questions to refine deliverables
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Responsible for identifying and raising risks and issues
• Endless amounts of enthusiasm, energy, and drive for results with minimal direction
• Experience working in a start-up environment would be ideal – we need someone who will “roll up their sleeves and get it done” even if the task is not included in these bullets
• A bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, computer science, or related fields strongly preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or related project management certification strongly desired

A combination of experience/skills and education to fulfill the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position may be considered.
